Grand Marais
We camped in Grand Marais, on the northeastern corner of the Upper Peninsula. This is a miniscule town, but with beautiful views and sunsets over the lake that were to die for. Also, there happened to be a gemstone exhibit going on so the place was buzzing and the campground was noisy and crowded, as well as chilly and damp. It was still great. We took day outings to the local parks.
